Before you decide
Ask what the practitioner means by the style name. Anma, Shiatsu and a Japanese-inspired facial session can feel quite different. The explanation should cover actual contact, clothing, products and positioning. You can ask for a demonstration or clarification without needing technical vocabulary.
Confirm who will provide the session and what training they have. If you need RMT care or insurance documentation, verify the individual and service separately. No credentials or receipt eligibility should be inferred from Japanese origins or an airport-area brand.
Comfort and privacy
Agree on the body areas and any movements you want left out. Discuss changing privacy and draping, or ask whether a suitable clothed option is available. Explain if you want no oil, no fragrance, no hair pulling or no stretching.
Mention relevant health concerns before arranging touch. The first WhatsApp enquiry need not contain a detailed medical history; ask how important information should be discussed. New or unexplained symptoms may need assessment rather than a relaxation booking.
During and after
The plan remains open to your feedback. You can ask for lighter pressure, a slower movement, a different position or a pause. Permission for one area does not include every other area. You can end touch that does not feel right for you.
Afterward, notice what you enjoyed and what you would change. There is no need for soreness and no required return interval. Before visiting in the Pearson area, confirm the exact address, service arrangement, full price and appointment time. A prepared message is an enquiry, not a booking.
